The scattered poppy design looks exactly like the photo, delicate and airy rather than heavy-handed. The mug feels sturdy in my hands, and the large size is perfect for my morning coffee refills. Every sip from it makes me smile.
I was a little nervous about how the personalisation would turn out, but the name is printed crisp and the spring flowers look almost hand-painted. It's already my favourite mug for morning tea, and the large size means I don't have to refill as often.
I was a bit nervous the flowers would look cheap and printed-on, but they're so delicate and detailed it's like holding a tiny spring garden. The mug is a proper large size too, perfect for a generous cup of tea that actually stays warm. It's become my favourite thing to use on slow mornings.
