Mine used to slip off mid-reach, but this one grips my forearm snugly and the cuff actually stays put when I'm hauling a heavy roast out. The padding is thick enough that I don't flinch near the rack, and it's already handled two spills without a single scorch mark.
My old glove had so many scorch marks it looked like a war veteran, but this one sits fresh and clean every time I hang it on the door. The fit is snug enough that I can actually grip a hot casserole dish without it sliding around, and it hasn't singed once after a month of heavy baking.
Finally, a glove that doesn't slump over the door handle like a tired dishrag—this one holds its shape and actually looks clean. The fabric is noticeably thicker than my last pair, so I don't flinch when pulling a tray from the top rack.
