The rim is deeper than I expected, so a full ladle of broccoli cheese soup doesn't slosh over when I carry it to the table. My croutons stayed put in the wide bowl instead of diving to the bottom. It's been my go-to bowl all winter.

The broccoli shape is subtle enough that it doesn't look kitschy on the table, and it holds a full bowl of soup without any drips. I've used it for chili and chowder too, not just broccoli cheese, and it's been fine in the dishwasher every time.
