Finally, a bowl actually sized for the small tasks — I use mine to hold freshly minced garlic while cooking, and it’s shallow enough that I can scoop it out with a spoon without spilling. The unglazed interior keeps the garlic from sliding around, which is perfect when you’re working fast.
This little bowl is the perfect size for holding prepped garlic cloves right next to the cutting board, and the deep curve keeps them from rolling away. I've been using it for smashed cloves and minced bits alike, and it saves me from having to grab a separate dish mid-cook.
Always preferred smashing garlic with a knife, and this small bowl is the perfect size to hold the crushed cloves while I prep. The only thing is I wish the bottom were a bit heavier so it doesn't slide around the counter. Still, it does exactly what I need for garlic prep without taking up much space.
