I was a little nervous ordering a "seconds" piece, but you'd never know it from how flawless this butter dish looks on my counter. The handcrafted feel is obvious in the slight weight of the pottery, and the classic polka dot pattern adds just the right amount of retro charm to my breakfast setup.

The polka dots are crisp and cheerful, and the glaze has that lovely handmade British pottery feel. It sits perfectly on my counter next to the toaster, and the size is just right for a standard stick of butter.
