Bought this mainly for cheese nights and it fits a whole wedge of cheddar plus a sleeve of oatcakes with room to spare. The deep sides keep everything from sliding around when I pass it across the table.

The long rectangular shape is what sold me, it actually fits a whole sleeve of oatcakes laid flat instead of stacking them sideways. Lid sits snug but lifts off easily, and the deep sides mean there's room for the chutney jar too.
