I've been using these for my afternoon coffee and a slice of cake on the patio, and the polka dots just make me smile every time. The medium size handles a generous piece without looking crowded, and they've held up fine in the dishwasher so far.
The 8.5 inch size is perfect for a slice of cake without the plate looking empty, and the big polka dots are cheerful without being loud. Only wish it were a touch deeper for saucy stuff, but for tea and dessert it's spot on.
