Candles aren’t just reserved for winter nights; they cast an equally enchanting glow as dusk settles on a summer’s eve – and there’s something especially pretty about a floral-decorated china candlestick, such as our Pink Carnation Small Candlestick. So as the evenings become balmy and still, why not place a few of these small candlesticks on the garden table and watch their flames softly flicker in the twilight? Add candles in pink, coral or green to echo the carnation pattern and create an instant pop of colour for your supper setting.

This little candlestick sits on my patio table every evening now, and the painted carnations catch the last bit of sunset before the candle takes over. It’s got a nice weight to it, not tippy at all, and the glaze makes the pink pop so much prettier than I expected from the photos.

The floral-painted china feels delicate but sturdy, and the little pink carnations look charming even when the candle’s not lit. It’s the perfect size for a windowsill, casting a soft glow that makes the whole room feel cozier.

I’ve been using it on my patio every evening this week, and the way the pink carnation pattern softens the candlelight is honestly dreamy. It’s lightweight enough to move from table to railing without any fuss, and the china feels sturdy for such a pretty piece.
