The flowers on a Personalised Poppies & Pinks Large Mug are small and scattered, as if they accidentally arrived on the surface – like blossom caught on a breeze. In reality, every tiny spring flower covering this large pottery mug has been carefully added by hand with a paint-dipped sponge. Our very big floral mug is actually the largest of all Emma Bridgewater mugs. It makes a generously sized birthday present or Easter gift that’s perfect for a big heartfelt message for someone of up to 58 letters including spaces. It acknowledges who they really are: someone who likes their coffee plentiful and their tea break long-lasting.

The scattered poppy design looks exactly like the photo, delicate and airy rather than heavy-handed. The mug feels sturdy in my hands, and the large size is perfect for my morning coffee refills. Every sip from it makes me smile.

I was a little nervous about how the personalisation would turn out, but the name is printed crisp and the spring flowers look almost hand-painted. It's already my favourite mug for morning tea, and the large size means I don't have to refill as often.

I was a bit nervous the flowers would look cheap and printed-on, but they're so delicate and detailed it's like holding a tiny spring garden. The mug is a proper large size too, perfect for a generous cup of tea that actually stays warm. It's become my favourite thing to use on slow mornings.
