Cat lovers know only too well that cats make excellent pets largely because they refuse to behave like pets at all. They are companions rather than dependents, moving through the house as if they own it. Any cat owner will lap up this present of a Personalised All Over Cats 1/2 Pint Mug, with its hand-painted cats and a message specially chosen by you. It’s an Emma Bridgewater pottery mug best enjoyed with tea and, if lucky, the warm, familiar weight of a purring cat on the lap.

The print wraps all the way around with every cat in a different pose, so I keep spotting new ones while I sip my tea. It holds a proper half pint, which is exactly the right size for a strong brew.

Our kitchen is chaotic, so I love that the cats are printed all over the mug, not just one side—every angle has a different little face. The half-pint size is perfect for my afternoon espresso rather than a huge tea, and it's genuinely made me smile every time I reach for it.

The cat print wraps all the way around, so I keep spotting a new sleepy face with every sip of my morning tea. It feels sturdy enough for the dishwasher, which is a win for me since I hate hand-washing anything.
