Sebastian ★★★★★

The little bumblebee pattern is so cheerful it honestly makes me smile before I've even poured the coffee. Handcrafted feel comes through in the glaze, and the half-pint size is perfect for a proper strong brew without going cold.

I grabbed this for my morning tea and the half-pint size is perfect for a proper cuppa without overdoing the caffeine. The handcrafted British pottery feels substantial and the sponge-painted bumblebee has a lovely imperfect charm you just don't get from mass-produced mugs. It's already my favorite

The bumblebee pattern is so cheerful it actually makes me look forward to my tea, and the 1/2 pint size is perfect for a proper cuppa without going cold. It survived the dishwasher and microwave without a single chip, which is more than I can say for some fancier mugs I've owned.
