Gave two of these tins to my neighbour filled with lemon drizzle and she immediately asked where I got them. The round shape releases the sponge cleanly and the floral lids look sweet sitting on the counter.
Baked three sponges on Saturday and these tins fit them perfectly, stacked neatly in my cupboard instead of taking up the whole shelf. The lids sit snug enough that nothing's gone stale yet, and I handed two off to next door like the description suggested.
The flower design on the lids is so pretty that I actually left them out on the counter instead of hiding them in the cupboard. They hold a full sponge cake each and the lids snap on securely, so passing two along to my neighbours felt like a proper gift.
