The matte black finish is exactly what I was hoping for—it gives my everyday meals a bit of drama without feeling fussy. These have held up well in the dishwasher after two weeks of constant use, and the toast and marmalade wording on the rim is a fun little conversation starter.
The wide rim makes this plate feel substantial in hand, and the matte black really lets the food pop. I’ve used them daily for a month now and they still look brand new after the dishwasher.
The matte black finish is exactly what my table needed, and the 8.5 inch size is perfect for everyday meals without feeling tiny. The "TOAST & MARMALADE" and "KEDGEREE" text around the rim is such a quirky touch that always gets a comment from guests.
